Walt Disney World Resort

A family vacation in Florida is not complete without seeing the famous Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. It is the world’s largest recreational resort. The Walt Disney World opened on October 1,1971. The WDW consists of four themed parks, themed hotels, dining, entertainment and more than 40 attractions.

The four themed parks are:

1. Magic Kingdom
2. Epcot Center
3. Disney-MGM Studios
4. Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The park has everything from Fantasyland to the Magical Castle, Broadway style stage shows to adventure rides, live animals and Disney characters.

If you have to explore everything, it will take you at least a week to see it all.

Kennedy Space Center Complex

Located in Merritt Island, the Kennedy Space Center Complex offers visitors to tour the facility and the spaceflight simulators. You might even be lucky enough to have lunch with a real astronaut. It’s a one of a kind experience especially if space shuttles and astronaut is your cup of tea.

Florida Golf Courses

If golf is your game, then Florida is the right choice for your next tee time. This Sunshine State has the best golf courses in the world. The TPC at Sawgrass is a great example. It’s the home of The Player’s Championship on the PGA tour. Even if you are just an amateur golfer, it will be a dream come true just to play on a golf course of this caliber.

Another magnificent golf course is located in Milton, Florida. The Moors Golf And Lodging will remind you of Scotland, because of how it was designed. It is an excellent golf course, designed by John La Foy.
